Ancient Replicas
| All our products are “tailor-made”. Each product is designed keeping in view the clientele; best suited to the demands of our esteemed clients. A product designed for a theatre group may look similar to the one produced for re-enactment or for a mock battle group, but they are all designed differently, keeping in mind their utility, cost effectiveness, worthiness and comfort. Other than being used for real battle situations, our crafts are a big hit amongst gift shops and prop stores. Chainmail Armour
 | Our chainmail extends a number of benefits to those who wear it. In addition to providing a high degree of protection, it’s just great for SCA or LARP events; for going out to Renaissance Fairs or costume parties or just wearing it to the club or an evening destination to create your own style statement. It looks amazing on just anyone.
All our chainmaille items are made from 9mm 16gauge rings and are available in three different finish, namely
• Oil finish (natural)
• Zinc plated (ZP)
• Black finish
All the items are offered in following five varieties:
• BUTTED
• ROUND RING ROUND RIVETED
• FLAT RING ROUND RIVETED
• FLAT RING WEDGE RIVETED
• FLAT RING RIVETED WITH ALTERNATE ROWS OF SOLID PUNCHED RINGS |
Plate Armour
 | Armour or armor is a protective covering intended to defend its wearer from intentional harm in combat. Armour has been used throughout recorded history, beginning with hides, leather, and bone, before progressing to bronze, then steel during the Roman Era.
Our solid steel armour is designed for combat, whether in the tournament or the field, but is also being widely used in movies.
All hand forged in 14 gauge(1.6mm approx) or 18 gauge (1.02mm approx) mild steel, as per order. |
Leather Armour
 | In medieval days, thick hide leather armor was additionally worn by warriors to complement their chainmail and steel armor. Also, many SCA and LARP veterans still prefer leather armor rather than steel armor for ease of movement, conformance to body shape and easy maintenance.
SN Exports is pleased to offer you an entirely new range of hand crafted leather armour and accessories. We can provide you light weight leather armour for theatre or movie costumes; slightly heavy weight leather armour for SCA or LARP events; or even top grade leather armour for full combat. |

Medieval Clothing
 | Gambesons are padded under tunics.
Aketon, Arming coat, Bambikion, Haqueton or Subarmalis, as you may call it, our Gambeson is useful in a no. of ways:
1. It serves as a support for the weight of the metal armor. The gambeson spreads the weight much better on the shoulders.
2. The gambeson assures that the metal armor stays at a safe distance from the skin. This avoids nasty wounds in combat.
3. It acts as a cushion to diffuse the force of a blow. |
Shields
 | Shields were the most extensively utilized form of defensive weapons in the ancient world. Principally used as protection against missiles & blades and also as weapons with which to actively parry blows, bearers wielded shields just as effectively to launch offensive attacks, carry magico-religious protective medicines and create visual noise to confuse or frighten the enemies.
Today, shields have been recognized as impressive examples of a culture''s artistry and ingenuity. People have great interest in our shields as they are widely used in the re-enactment, LARP events, movies and games based on historic events. They are also being used as pieces of art for decorating homes.
A variety of sturdy materials are utilized, singly or in combination, for the manufacture of our shields: leather, softwood, medium density wood, hardwood, cloth and plain or embossed metal. |
Helmets
 | Helmets were among the oldest forms of combat protection and are known to have been worn by ancient Greeks, Romans, throughout the Middle Ages, and up to the end of the 1600s by many combatants. At that time, they were purely military equipment, protecting the head from cutting blows with swords, flying arrows and low-velocity musketry.
SN Exports presents a range of helmets which are wearable and absolutely comfortable. Our helmets are being widely used for SCA combats, renaissance fairs, as well as in movies and games. They can also be used as a piece of art to decorate your mantle.
Helmets listed below are all available in 14 gauge(1.6mm approx) & 18 gauge(1.02mm approx), except a few which are only available in 16 gauge (1.29 mm approx) & 18 gauge (1.02mm approx). We also offer stands for helmets in both metal and wood. |
Souveniers
 | We offer a wide selection of miniatures of helmets, shields & armour, from the medieval era, which can be presented in a variety of ways. While most of them can be used as stand alone presentations, you can even get them personalized and mounted on some type of a base or desk sets. Our miniatures are popularly in demand at gift stores, where people love to take them back home as GIFTS or SOUVENIERS. Our miniature helmets, shields & armour are handcrafted and are very detailed in design. These ancient replicas look very much like the authentic ones, used during the medieval and renaissance period. |
Damascus & Koftgari Art
 | Our precision finished and premium quality Damascus Blades are known for their non-breaking ability, ultimate cutting edge and most of all the Bird’s Eye pattern which looks great. Each piece of art is unique in itself, as no two blades are the same.
They may give you a tough time to pick and choose from the extensive range of designs on offer, but are definitely an owner’s pride.
For producing Damascus Blades, alternating bars of steel carbon and iron, having different degrees of hardness, are being used. This composite of alternating bars of high- and low-carbon steels is then forge welded together. The process is repeated until the desired pattern is obtained. Also, the mix of approximately 500 layers does not allow the crack to propagate. The matrix design on the blade depends on how the black smith heat-treated the blade. This way a variety of convoluted patterns can be created. The Rockwell Hardness of our Blades may vary from 44-48. |
Koftgari Art
 | Koftgari is an ancient technique where the surface steel is heated and then a design is scratched onto the steel. Molten gold/silver is then encrusted into the scratched areas. Very intricate and exquisite designs are being produced by this technique which explains for its likeness world over. |
Swords & Daggers
 | A Dagger is a typically double-edged blade. They often fulfill the role of a secondary defense weapon in close combat. Dagger Blades may be roughly differentiated from knives on the basis that daggers are intended primarily for stabbing whereas knives are usually single-edged and intended mostly for cutting. Much like battle axes, Daggers evolved out of prehistoric tools. They were initially made of flint, ivory or even bone and were used as weapons since the earliest periods of human civilization. |
Horn & Bone Products
 | SN Exports proudly presents its new range of real HORN & BONE PRODUCTS. We deal in the finest quality horn and bone crafts.
Using traditional methods of manufacture we have tried to revive this age old skill of producing useful products from waste materials left from domestic cattle. These cattle horns and bones have natural glaze and etched patterns which in turn are shaped into the most exquisite and stunning crafts by our trained craftsmen. No two pairs of horns are alike; therefore every single piece of craft manufactured from horn or bone is different.
To contribute to a cleaner environment, these horns and bones are collected from areas around slaughter houses in both the rural and urban areas. No waste material from wild animals is being used in our production process. The material comes mostly from domestic cattle like cows and water buffaloes.
Apart from being unique and beautiful, these products are most durable, environment friendly, bio degradable and affordably priced. We are producing a wide range of functional products like cutlery (a variety of spoons & forks) drinking horns, bowls, trays, dishes, etc. and dress accessories like buttons, combs, hair-pins,etc. out of which only a few are listed below. We are also producing polished & cleaned horns, blowing horns, powder horns. We could also develop new items from horns and bones on request. |
Handmade Paper Craft
 | SN Exports also deals in wholesale export of Handmade Paper Crafts. These decorative items are handmade from 100% recycled paper.
Our products are a tribute for all environment lovers, as the paper used for the crafts is produced by recycling & processing all kind of natural elements.
Through this small scale industry we are also helping in generating employment amongst village people as all these crafts and recycled paper are hand produced in the small Indian villages. |
